Selective Draw Recommendations (12Pick)
The old selective draw banner let you pick 6 costumes you wanted, but you only had a 50% chance of getting them when a 5* shows up. The new one lets you pick 12 costumes, but only your selected 5*s will appear (excluding the 100 point guaranteed 5*). This is a massive improvement over the old system, making it the best banner to draw on after the costume pick-up banners.
I have most of the important costumes at +4 or +5, so I'm boosting costumes with low upgrades. I never put +4 costumes here because I want to reduce my odds of getting threads.
Supports
Supports are always the safest choices, since the list will always grow to include new costumes without replacing anyone, but you will need more copies to make some of them useful. In the past, the highest value supports went on rerun every 6 months (Anniversary in June, Half-Anniversary in December), but this changed in June 2025 due to the implementation of the Recommended 5* Costume Selective Ticket and the improved selective draw banner.
These are are the most widely used supports. The first 3 are non-negotiable, you want them no matter what kind of PvE content you're doing. The rest see heavy use in Fiend Hunt and Guild Raid. Refer to this in-depth guide on supports or Fiend Hunt costume guide for more information.
For an account that has nothing, these are the costumes I'd prioritize, roughly in order of priority. You don't just want single copies of these, you want to get most of these maxed out as soon as possible. Keep in mind that Adventurer of the Unknown Diana and Dark Saintess Liberta are pub recruitable before you run them all the way up to +5!
| Type | Portrait | Character | Costume | Purpose | Min | -1SP | Ideal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Universal | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Universal | ![]() |
Diana | Adventurer of the Unknown | Buff property damage | +0 | +3 | +5 | The most valuable 5* support when you have elemental advantage. It's better to give her upgrades and continue using Arines/Elpis than neglect her in favor of Lathel/Liberta/Helena. Pub recruitable, Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
| Magic | ![]() |
Helena | B-Rank Idol | Buff Magic ATK + crit rate + Heals | +2 | +3 | +5 | An upgrade to the 4* Elpis, 50% crit rate at +5. Top Idol is an important complementary costume and is pub recruitable. Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
| Physical | ![]() |
Liberta | Dark Saintess | Buff ATK + crit rate + SP recovery | +2 | +1 | +5 | An upgrade to the 3* Arines, 50% crit rate at +3. Pub recruitable. |
| Universal | ![]() |
Rou | Red Riding Hood | Crit Rate + Crit DMG | +2 | +3 | +5 | If you overcap on Crit Rate, the excess is converted to Crit DMG. |
| Last Night and FH/GR Essentials | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Universal | ![]() |
Refithea | Pure White Blessing | Buff property damage + chain bonus | +0 | +1 | +5 | The property bonus is less than what Diana gives, but the chain bonus can make her worth taking even if you don't have elemental advantage. She'll double your score in Last Night. The Gluttonus is an important complementary costume and is pub recruitable. |
| Universal | ![]() |
Liberta | Onsen Manager | Augmentation + Heals | +0 | +1 | +5 | The damage bonus only happens when the target has 10 or more chains on it. You'll only use this during multi-turn fights because her Dark Saintess costume is higher value. This costume can double your Last Night Score (~50% improvement if you have Shrine Maiden Granadair). |
| Universal | ![]() |
Granadair | Shrine Maiden of Purification | Augmentation + Status Removal | +1 | +1 | +5 | Increases damage of allies and removes their debuffs, with an additional damage bonus for each debuff removed. Even though her other costume only benefits magic characters, this one is universal and can be used with physical characters. This costume can double your Last Night score (~50% improvement if you have Onsen Liberta). |
| Physical | ![]() |
Lathel | Homunculus | Buff ATK | +1 | +3 | +5 | The highest ATK buff in the game, but only for the first 2 turns. For the remaining turns, the potency is reduced to about half. The less potent part of the buff can be kept up full time at +5. Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
| Fiend Hunt and Guild Raid Essentials | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Magic | ![]() |
Granadair | Queen of Gluttis | Buff Magic ATK | +1 | +1 | +5 | Magic version of Homunculus Lathel. Slightly weaker buff, but the more potent part is up every other turn instead of every third turn. |
| Universal | ![]() |
Refithea | Poolside Fairy | Property Bonus + SP reduction buff | +3 | +1 | +5 | Requires +3 to keep the buff up full time. Due to the prohibitively high SP cost, you'll only use this during FH/GR. The SP reduction is invaluable, and the additional property damage is a nice bonus. |
| Physical | ![]() |
Wilhelmina | Iron Monarch | Chains | +4 | +1 | +5 | Single-target chainer that also does exceptional damage. She needs +4 to be used every turn. Primarily used in FH/GR and Last Night. |
| Physical | ![]() |
Wilhelmina | Water Park Queen | Chain Bonus + Chains | +4 | +1 | +5 | She increases the number of chains she generates (stacks with PWB Refithea), further boosting the amount of chains her Iron Monarch costume generates. Buff duration increases at +4. Requires Iron Monarch costume to be useful. |
| Universal | ![]() |
Mamonir | Miracle Marine | Stacking Vulnerability on attacker when struck | +1 | +5 | In FH/GR, the vulnerability will always apply to the head of the fiend. It's incredibly potent if all 8 stacks are used. Due to the short duration of the debuff, it works best against fiends where you only take a couple hits each turn so it can refresh the duration. | |
| Universal | ![]() |
Zenith | Poolside Guardian | Concentrated Fire + Bonus Chain Damage | +3 | +1 | +5 | Requires +3 to keep the debuff up full time. Useless on it's own, she becomes essential when combined with her Robin Hood costume, especially when there's a single weak tile. |
One-Copy Wonders
Getting at least 1 copy of each of these costumes is very important for Fiend Hunt and Guild Raid, but getting more than that is less important than getting additional copies of the other costumes listed here. Additional copies are primarily for the SP reduction. Descendant of the Great Witch Celia is the only one that doesn't have a guaranteed way to obtain it.
| Type | Portrait | Character | Costume | Purpose | Min | -1SP | Ideal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supports | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Magic | ![]() |
Celia | Descendant of the Great Witch | Chains | +0 | +3 | +4 | An invaluable chainer for Fiend Hunt/Guild Raid, requires The Curse costume. Without her limited costume, Masquerade Bunny, you'll need 2 tears to unlock her cooldown potential. |
| Magic | ![]() |
Celia | The Curse | Chains | +0 | +3 | +4 | An invaluable chainer for Fiend Hunt/Guild Raid, requires the Descendant of the Great Witch costume. Without her limited costume, Masquerade Bunny, you'll need 2 tears to unlock her cooldown potential. Pub recruitable. |
| Universal | ![]() |
Zenith | Robin Hood | Chains + Concentrated Fire + Vulnerability | +0 | +3 | +5 | Upgrade to the 3* Rigenette. Concentrated fire is a taunt effect that helps characters reach enemies they wouldn't normally be able to, either by positioning or their targeting type. The SP cost goes to 0 at +3 with potentials. Poolside Guardian is an exceptional complementary costume. Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
General PvE Content Supports
For single-turn wins, these costumes are some of your best choices. That includes story, normal/challenge battles, and Evil Castle. They've just been edged out of end-game content as a general-use support by newer costumes.
| Type | Portrait | Character | Costume | Purpose | Min | -1SP | Ideal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| General PvE Content | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Magic | ![]() |
Levia | Track and Field Captain | Chains + Magic Vulnerability | +0 | +1 | +4 | The main target receives a stronger vulnerability debuff. Vulnerability potency increases at +2 and +4. Unless fire has the advantage, she doesn't see much FH/GR action, but she's very useful for story content and Evil Castle. Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
| Physical | ![]() |
Rafina | Game Club | Chains + Physical Vulnerability | +0 | +1 | +4 | Vulnerability potency increases at +2 and +4. Unless water has the advantage, she doesn't see much FH/GR action, but she's very useful for story content and Evil Castle. Recommended 5* Costume Selective ticket. |
Damage Costumes
Damage costumes, on the other hand, are volatile due to power creep. The Fiend Hunt for the current event season tends to be tailored towards the new costume on banner, and you want to be able to do well there to earn extra tickets. You can also refer to this in-depth guide on the most general-purpose damage characters if your heart is still set on someone who does damage.
The costumes listed below are dual purpose: they do good damage in addition to being able to fill a support role.
| Type | Portrait | Character | Costume | Purpose | Min | -1SP | Ideal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dual Purpose | Min | -1SP | Ideal | |||||
| Magic | ![]() |
Mamonir | Night of Death | Chains + Damage | +1 | +5 | On top of being a very newbie-friendly damage dealer, her high chain count allows her to support other characters as well. To get the most out of her for Fiend Hunt, though, you'll want her Miracle Marine costume as well. Pub recruitable. | |
